Hello there! My name is Simona. I’m a health psychologist, with a background in neuroscience, trained in EMDR therapy. I create a safe, inclusive and compassionate space that frees you to reflect on life, work through difficulties, embrace your strengths and nurture your authentic self.

Trauma

It is commonly believed that severe emotional pain takes a long time to heal. EMDR therapy demonstrates that the mind can recover from psychological trauma much like the body heals from physical injuries. We will work through your past experiences, what is currently causing distress in your daily life, and what you wish for the future.

Couples

Our romantic relationships are often the closest bonds we have. Whether you are just starting a relationship or have been together for years, I am here to help you build a solid foundation, foster connection, resolve conflicts, cope with changes, and improve communication. I work with both monogamous and consensually non-monogamous individuals.

Friendships

Friendships are indispensable. Our friends are there for us for life’s highs and life’s lows but these relationships are not inevitable. So, what do you do when a friendship goes through  a rough patch? In my practice, I prioritise these essential platonic bonds, working to foster greater intimacy and connect friends more deeply than ever.

This can help you gain a better understanding of yourself, your emotions, and how they relate to your current situation or past experiences, supporting your emotional well-being.

Issues

We can take on many roles in our lives, and our identities can change. What does it mean to be you when you move countries, get married, or have children? Perhaps you’re discovering something new about yourself or questioning aspects like your gender identity, sexuality, or how you see yourself in romantic relationships. In my practice, we can work through these questions together.

Dealing
with Changes

Change can be frightening and create a lot of uncertainty. However, it is a constant in our lives. Whether you're exploring different options and feeling unsure about decisions, trying to change your habits, or going through life transitions such as health changes, bereavement, marriage, separation, job loss, or anything else, I am here to support you through these processes.
